The Week, Summed Up

Wow, what a spectacular week.
It went by way too fast! I will steal pictures from others to put on here, but until then, I can only describe the fun.

Wednesday was the first day that Nan flew in! Taylor, Kyle and I picked her up after a game of "guess whose legs are Nan's" haha

Then Taylor had to work at 3 ish. So Nan and I had the evening to ourselves =]
We went to the beach, her first time seeing the Pacific Ocean. It was amazing.

Thursday, we went to Taylor's grandparents' house. We rode four-wheelers and picked fruit from their trees. They cooked us a delicious dinner and we had great conversation afterwards.

Friday was my "Surprise" Birthday. Thank you all for coming, it was great to see everyone! And Stephanie came to stay for the weekend. My mom wants her to move in as our nanny hehe.

Saturday, Nan and I ditched the world and spent the day together. You probably don't need to hear or care about all of those details =P hehe

Sunday was full of church and family. My grandparents and aunt and cousin and his wife and Stephanie and Nan were all over for my birthday dinner. I love good food and good company. Naturally, it was a day full of smiles. Sunday night we ALL (Haylan, Nan, Stephanie, Holly and I) went to stay the night at Taylor's house to get up the next morning to go to L.A.!

Monday (my actual birthday =]) was the L.A. trip. We went to Olver Street, Chinatown, and Hollywood. We saw all of the Stars' footprints and signatures. Then we headed over and visited my dad at the fire station. He gave us a tour which included a ride on the fire truck, squirting out water from the fire hose and trying on all the gear. For dinner, we ate at Kyle's house. and stayed the night at Taylor's house again.

Tuesday was beach day! Relaxing, fun, crazy, wonderful, perfect. The bonfire kept us warm as we roasted marshmallows and Starbursts.

And that sums up my week. =] There are so many other little random details that add to the whole of it, but I can't remember all of them.

Best week of the summer, no doubt about it.
