Because I Have Been Given Much, I Too Must Give

Well, hello there Blogging World. It has been a while since my last post.
I have been home for a little over a week. Life is just great and wonderful. It was definitly an adjustment back to family life. I almost forgot how much of a handful my siblings can be! Hehe. But I love 'em. =]

This past week was full of friends and family. Going to the beach, swimming, adventuring and relaxing.

Hopefully I will find work. I need to pay "The Man" some big bucks for my future.
The other day, I was observing some man somewhere. I just did not want to end up like him. Without a stable job/income, living in a bad neighborhood. It just seemed as if he stopped progressing and was stuck in high school mentality. I thought to myself, "Why didn't this guy try to go to school and get a better job? To better himself?" Then I thought of his circumstances and the environment he was born into. He probably never had the money to go to college, and was never encouraged to. His opportunities were limited. I, however, come from a different background. Money is tight, but I still have the encouragemante and opportunity to go to college. It is not hard for me to do so. There are'nt too many oppositions.
What if I had been born into his life and he into mine? Would I have the perserverance and will power to succeed in his world? I highly doubt that I would. So I was grateful for what I have. I see all of the wonderful opportunities that I have to improve my life and to be better. I should not judge people by what they first appear to be. I do no know their situation. I do not know their struggles. There could be trials in people's lives that I never even thought of. Have I ever felt threatened or in danger to go to church? Have I ever suffered from true hunger and starvation? Never.
I am truly blessed.

I can help. I can open and walk through doors that others cannot. However, I can guide people to the doors and beckon them to enter.
